Levels
The OET exam can be taken regardless of the candidate’s English proficiency level, as the results are scored on a scale from 0 to 500 points, indicating different levels of competence:
• A (450-500): Very high level of competence.
• B (350-440): High level of competence.
• C (300-340): Competent level.
• D (200-290): Low level of competence.
• E (0-190): Very low level of competence.
In this case, we should know the level required by the company to which one wants to apply or work for, in order to tailor our program to achieve that level.
