1. Courses and Modalities and Enrollment
What courses, modalities and levels do you offer, and what levels of proficiency do your courses cover?
1. Speaking courses: These focus on improving speaking and listening skills through interactive activities, discussions, and practical sessions. We offer these courses in three languages (English, Spanish and Catalan) and cover all levels of proficiency (A1-C2).
2. Academic English courses: These cover all aspects of language learning, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. They cater to different proficiency levels, from beginners (A1/A2) to advanced (C1) learners. We offer these courses in three languages (English, Spanish and Catalan).
3. Exam-preparation courses: These courses prepare students for standardized language proficiency exams such as Cambridge English, TRINITY, LanguageCert, TOEFL, IELTS, DELE (Spanish), etc. We offer these courses in three languages (English, Spanish and Catalan) and cover all levels of proficiency (A1-C2).
4. Business English courses: Tailored for professionals, these courses focus on language skills needed in business settings, such as writing emails, conducting meetings, making presentations, and business-specific vocabulary. We offer these courses in English, and cover different levels of proficiency (A2 to C1).
5. Specialized (ESP) courses: These include courses catering to specific professions (e.g., medical, legal, or technical language courses). We offer these courses in English, and cover different levels of proficiency (B1 to C1).
6. Intensive courses: These are immersive programs designed to help learners quickly acquire language skills within a short period. They often involve more hours of study per week than regular courses. We offer this type of course in English, Spanish and Catalan and we cover all levels of proficiency (A1-C2).
What technical requirements do I need to attend online classes?
A desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone that meets the minimum specifications :
a. Windows or Mac system for computers

e. Speakers, Earphones or Headset
2. Internet Connection:
A stable and reasonably fast internet connection to participate in live sessions.
3. Software:
At DELIATEACHER,, we use Microsoft Teams for the live sessions, and Moodle for our virtual classroom. Both platforms have the web browser version and an app for the mobile devices, for both Android and iOs.
Before starting your online course, it’s advisable to check the platform with your device and contact the Academic department if you need any further information or assistance with it, so you can be ready for your first session with your teacher.

2. Teachers and Teaching Methods
What are the qualifications and experience of the teaching staff?
1. Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the language being taught is a fundamental requirement. Some of our teachers are native English speakers, and the non-native hold a near-native fluency in the language, along with a deep understanding of its grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
2. Educational Background: Our language teachers have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in languages, linguistics, education, or a related field. Some also have specialized certifications or diplomas in language teaching methodologies (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA).
3. Teaching Experience: Our teachers have extensive experience in teaching language courses to diverse groups of students. This experience includes teaching in different settings such as language schools, private or public schools, online platforms, or corporate environments.
4. Professional Development: Continuous professional development is crucial for language teachers. Our teachers participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, language learning trends, and technology integration in language education.
5. Specializations: Some of our teachers have specialized expertise in certain areas such as business language, medical or technical language, translation, or proficiency exam preparation (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, DELE, etc.).
6. Technology Integration: Our teachers have skills in integrating technology into their teaching methods, using online resources, language learning apps, and interactive platforms to enhance the learning experience.
Do you provide one-to-one lessons, group classes, or both?
What teaching methods do you use in your courses and how do teachers assess and provide feedback on student progress?
In order to assess the student’s progress, the teachers follow different methods:
1. Oral tasks / In-class assessment: Assessing speaking and listening skills through one-to-one activities or group discussions.
2. Continuous assessment: Regular quizzes, participation, homework, and classroom activities contributing to overall assessment by the teacher, also complemented by the assessment from the Academic department.
3. Written assignments: Evaluating writing skills through essays, reports, compositions, or summaries.
4. Exams: The students must take an exam at the end of every quarter, in addition to the continuous assessment throughout the year. At the end of the course, we offer students standardized tests such as Cambridge, LanguageCert, TOEFL, IELTS, DELE, etc., which assess overall language proficiency and gives them an official level certificate.
What is your cancellation policy if I cannot attend to a class session?
For group courses, the sessions are not recuperated. However, in those cases, the teacher records the session for the students not to miss out anything from the session they couldn’t attend.
Can I change the program or level of my course if I find it too easy, or difficult?

What type of course materials do you provide?
For academic and exam-preparation courses, the program is also based on a textbook, which is not included in the fee, and so you will have to get it on your own.
Is there any demo class available to see the course content and teaching style?

What kind of support do you offer to students?
All our students are offered the following, in any kind of course:

How can I contact student support or teachers if I have questions or concerns?
For student support, you can contact the Academic Manager at academics@deliateacher.com. If you need to contact your teacher, you can do so through the virtual classroom, or Microsoft Teams. You will be given all this information on your first day of classes.
4. Assessment and Certification
Is there a placement test to determine my proficiency level before enrolling in a course?
How is the center going to follow up on my progress?
Do you offer certificates upon course completion?
Yes, we offer all our students a Certificate of Completion (not official), and also the option to obtain an official level certificate at the end of the course.

What payment options do you have?
